February’s program presents Jen Baldwin (shown above) on “Pledging Brotherhood: An Introduction to Fraternal, Benevolent and Secret Societies.” During the 1800’s, one in every seven people in the US was a member of a fraternal society. Explore the various types of organizations, how they differ from each other and how to access their records. Jen will give an overview of the various societies with examples.
