September Program: Finding People in the 20th Century with Carol Darrow

Certified Genealogist Carol Darrow presents “Finding People in the 20th Century.” Have you lost track of cousins, schoolmates, military buddies? There are ways to use school yearbooks, city directories, birth, marriage, and death records to locate these long lost friends.

Carol is a professional researcher and lecturer, instructor, and past president of the Colorado Genealogical Society, has a degree in history, and is co-author of her 2007 book, “The Genealogist’s Guide to Researching Tax Records.” You can visit her website at Unraveling your Past to learn more.

If members can’t attend this program, our society records the program for viewing during the following three weeks. This is a great benefit for our members who can’t attend, are located elsewhere or want to see the program again. Members receive an email with the instructions to access the video.

Please invite relatives and friends interested in genealogy and family history for an informative evening on researching your ancestry. Open to the public, but consider joining our society to learn more about your ancestors!
