Membership Benefits

  • Monthly Meetings – Larimer County Genealogical Society meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Harmony Library, Community Meeting Room, 4616 S. Shields Street, Fort Collins, Colorado. There is no meeting in December. Each meeting includes a speaker who presents a talk on a variety of genealogical topics. Books published by the Society, recycled genealogical magazines, notices and event brochures are always available at the meetings
  • Newsletter – The society newsletter is published bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Each issue is filled with current society news, news from other local societies and genealogical research tips. Back issues of the newsletter are also available. Queries are accepted and are free to members. Currently we are not publishing local records in our newsletter. You can receive your issue by mail or digitally via email.
  • Magazine Resale – Members donate used genealogical magazines which are then offered at the meetings for a very small resale price. Members get magazines at a greatly reduced price and support the Society at the same time.
