The Larimer County Genealogical Society is a wonderful organization with many dedicated volunteers that contribute their time to promote its mission. If you have some free time and would like to contribute, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities for members of the Society.

Committee Chairs
Society Photographer
Our society needs a photrapher to take photos at our different events for use in our annual directory and bi-monthly newsletter. If you have experience with a digital camera and can use simple photo editing software and the Internet and interested in this position, please contact our president. Recycle Table Chair
We need a volunteer to operate our recycle table at alternate monthly general meetings. Our recycle table allows our members to donate older genelaogy software, books, magazines, and for recycling purposes. We sell the items to help our society treasury with another revenue stream and give our members access to used materials. If you can collect donated items and organize them for the recycle table at the general meetings, please contact our president. Email President for more information.
Library Volunteers
Starting in February 2012, our society will need several experienced genelaogy volunteers from Loveland to help library patrons with their research in the new Local History and Genealogy room on the first floor at the remodeled Loveland Public Library for one half day per week.
Starting in September 2012, our society will need several expienced genealogy volunteers from Fort Collins to help library patrons with their research on the second floor at the remodeled Poudre River Main Library in Fort Collins for one half day per week.
