This class is held on Saturday, November 20 from 9 am to noon.

Class Description
Colonial records are a favorite among genealogists as many ancestors came from the period of time (1500-1776 AD)! This class explores how the United States was created and colonized by many countries, what type of records are available, and where the records are located.

Presenter Bio:

Karen Wente

Karen West Wente is the instructor for this class. She is also the Colonial Study Group co-leader and a genealogy volunteer at Johnstown Library. She has been researching her genealogy for over 15 years and focuses on colonial research.

Everyone interested in genealogy or family history is welcome to attend our free online classes!

Simple handouts available at the class and the slide presentation will be sent via email to all registered attendees the day before the class.
