Our Saturday meeting begins at 10:00am at the Fort Collins Senior Center (See map below). This will be a hybrid (in-person & Zoom)meeting. Attendees wanting to attend via Zoom need to register below to receive the Zoom info and handout.

Did you know that the Laramie County Library in Cheyenne, Wyoming has an extensive genealogy collection? Elaine Hayes will discuss the holdings and what is available for genealogy research in the Laramie County Library.
Elaine Hayes earned a Master’s degree in Library Science in 1999 and moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2000. Since May of 2020, she has worked as a Reference and Special Collections Librarian for the Laramie County Library System (LCLS) in Cheyenne. She is also in charge of managing the LCLS Special Collections including the Genealogy collection. She has been working on her own genealogy and teaching general and specific genealogy classes for LCLS since 2004. She currently offers Beginning, Intermediate, Irish, German, Hispanic, and DNA Genealogy class on a rotating basis and also does Genealogy one-on-one consultations through the library.

Members or visitors: please send an email to Genealogyhelp@lcgsco.org with your request, and if for an ancestor, please send your family tree info from Ancestry, MyHeritage or a family tree image from your genealogy software.
