He has appeared as a guest expert in African American Lives with Henry Louis Gates, Oprah’s Roots, Who Do You Think You Are?, The Real Family of Jesus, the History Channel, CBS Sunday Morning, and the BBC. His book, Black Roots, was number one on Essence Magazine’s Best Seller List.
